I've spent over 20 years working with children and families. And one thing has always stood out to me.
Many children don't struggle because they can't read—they struggle because they don't feel connected to what they're reading.
And when that connection is missing, reading becomes frustrating—for the child and for the parent, caregiver, or teacher trying to support them.
